Aetheria Weather 3D (“the app”) is published by INZA KONE – Ikonet Solutions, Italy (“we”). This policy explains which data the app processes and why.
Data we process
- Location. Only when you tap “GPS”, the app reads your approximate position on the device. The coordinates, rounded to about 1 km, are sent to our weather server to get the forecast. We do not build a location history and we do not link coordinates to you.
- Places you search. Place search runs entirely on your device (offline GeoNames database). The chosen place, your language, units and the last forecast are stored only on your device.
- Technical logs. Our weather server (meteo-api.ikonetsolutions.com) keeps standard web server logs (IP address, time, requested coordinates) for security and troubleshooting. They are deleted automatically within 14 days.
- Satellite imagery. Globe and rain maps are loaded directly from NASA GIBS (gibs.earthdata.nasa.gov), which receives your IP address like any website.
- Advertising (free version). The app shows ads from Google AdMob. With your consent (GDPR consent form in the EU/UK; App Tracking Transparency on iOS), Google may use the device advertising identifier, IP address and usage data to show and measure ads. If you refuse, Google shows non-personalised ads. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
- Purchases. “Aetheria Pro” (removes all ads) is sold through Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive your payment details; the store only confirms that the purchase exists.
What we do not do
- No account and no registration.
- We do not sell your data and we do not use our own analytics or tracking.
- No data from children is collected knowingly; the app is rated for all ages.
Legal basis and your rights
Location is processed only at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); advertising identifiers only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)); server logs on our legitimate interest in security (Art. 6(1)(f)). You can change your ad consent at any time from the consent form, refuse tracking in iOS Settings → Privacy → Tracking, or reset the advertising ID in Android settings. You may ask for access, rectification or erasure, and lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Italy: Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

Dati trattati
- Posizione. Solo quando tocchi “GPS”, l'app legge la tua posizione approssimativa sul dispositivo. Le coordinate, arrotondate a circa 1 km, sono inviate al nostro server meteo per ottenere la previsione. Non creiamo uno storico delle posizioni e non le colleghiamo alla tua persona.
- Località cercate. La ricerca delle località avviene interamente sul dispositivo (database GeoNames offline). Località scelta, lingua, unità e ultima previsione restano solo sul dispositivo.
- Log tecnici. Il nostro server meteo (meteo-api.ikonetsolutions.com) conserva i normali log del server web (indirizzo IP, ora, coordinate richieste) per sicurezza e diagnosi. Vengono cancellati automaticamente entro 14 giorni.
- Immagini satellitari. Globo e mappe della pioggia sono caricati direttamente da NASA GIBS (gibs.earthdata.nasa.gov), che riceve il tuo indirizzo IP come qualsiasi sito web.
- Pubblicità (versione gratuita). L'app mostra annunci di Google AdMob. Con il tuo consenso (modulo GDPR in UE/Regno Unito; App Tracking Transparency su iOS) Google può usare l'identificativo pubblicitario del dispositivo, l'indirizzo IP e dati d'uso per mostrare e misurare gli annunci. Se rifiuti, Google mostra annunci non personalizzati.
- Acquisti. “Aetheria Pro” (rimuove tutta la pubblicità) è venduto tramite App Store o Google Play. Non riceviamo mai i tuoi dati di pagamento: lo store ci conferma solo che l'acquisto esiste.
Cosa non facciamo
- Nessun account e nessuna registrazione.
- Non vendiamo i tuoi dati e non usiamo strumenti di analisi o tracciamento nostri.
- Non raccogliamo consapevolmente dati di minori.
Basi giuridiche e diritti
La posizione è trattata solo su tua richiesta (art. 6.1.b GDPR); gli identificativi pubblicitari solo con il tuo consenso (art. 6.1.a); i log del server per il legittimo interesse alla sicurezza (art. 6.1.f). Puoi modificare il consenso agli annunci in qualsiasi momento, negare il tracciamento in Impostazioni iOS → Privacy → Tracciamento o reimpostare l'ID pubblicitario nelle impostazioni Android. Puoi chiedere accesso, rettifica o cancellazione e presentare reclamo al Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
